MAPRO d.o.o. (Ltd.) was established in 1992. It is a family-owned company that employees 24 people. At first, the company was involved in the cutting and sales of chromium-plated piston rods/rods and cold drawn seamless (honed) pipes; today, however, the company’s sales and production programme consists mostly of hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic device components.
After expanding the area of operation, the company purchased the facilities of the former dormitory in Strojniška street, where they moved their business from the family house. The new facilities presented the possibility of employing more people, purchasing and installing new machinery, increasing the volume of storage material for the production of chromium-plated piston rods/rods, pipes, seals and other components for producing hydraulic cylinders.
In 2004, the company purchased land within the Žiri Industrial Park and constructed a new production facility with 800 square metres of surface area. The acquisition of these facilities enabled the purchase of additional new machinery and the employment of professional staff. Following their relocating to the new facilities, the company entered into a new area that presented itself with potential from production planning, production, installation and storage and excellent working conditions enabled better productivity and quality of the products.
During the production process, three abrasive saws, two of which are CNC saws with a diameter of 300mm, a VF 3 vertical machining centre CNC, CNC lathe/SKT28 for larger components (maximum weight 80kg), a lathe with a maximum of 6m turning length, milling machines, several drilling machines and a modern paint shop to accommodate their own needs. The above-mentioned machinery covers the production of hydraulic cylinders for the most demanding applications.
Since we are aware of the importance of logistics within the company, we arranged our storage space in such a way that it saves us a lot of time and space. We provide fast delivery of ordered products to our customers in Slovenia by having our own transportation park that enables fast responsiveness and adaptability to customer requirements.
As a manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders, we always strive to provide the highest level of quality of our products and to fully consider the agreed delivery periods without compromises. Our goal is to achieve the maximum trust and satisfaction of our clients.
